1.2 The Crown Boulder
1.2.1Rock Blast 石破天驚(V10/V11)
Start on the good crimp and launch up to the side pull, finish above.
1.2.1aHamstar The Cat***(V5)
Stand start version of Rock Blast, double start on left hand good pinch, and right hand small crimp.
1.2.2The Crown(sds)***(V5)
Starting with two sloping crimps, make moonboard moves.
1.2.2aThe Sceptre(sds)***(V6)
Starting on a good jug on the same horizontal level as the starting holds of the crown, find your own beta or sequence to traverse to the start of The Crown, then follow The Crown to top out.
1.2.4Lone Wolf(sds)**(V5)
Start on the good crimps, make technical moves to climb the arete.
1.2.5Crack Stairs(sds)*(V3)
Start on a good sidepull, follow the crack head up the slab.
1.2.6Dark Portal(sds)***(V6)
Start on the good undercut, make body tension moves to get through the lip of the overhang, finish above the slab.
1.2.8Sticky Damp*(VB)
Follow the intermittent crack up the middle of the face.
1.2.9Sans Hands**(V0)
Climb the right side the slab, avoiding the arête and aiming gradually towards the highest part of the bloc. Also a fun one to try sans hands, even more so if you also ban the use of knees for balance too.
